Thinking of joining a choir?
Are you thinking about joining a choir but not sure where to start? We are a friendly group of women who meet once a week, on a Thursday, for a couple of hours to rehearse and have fun. We don't audition we just ask people to bring enthusiasm and a willingness to work hard. Studies have shown that singing in a choir is good for both physical and mental health, so you can enjoy yourself and look after yourself at the same time!
Currently we do not have any vacancies but if you would like to be placed on our waiting list please contact Director, Alison Davis. (see details on our contact page)
"Choir for me is experiencing the art of learning to use my voice, even at a later stage in life, having fun, using the grey matter to learn all the words which keeps one alert, and more than anything, has benefits to my health. Even when I'm not feeling too good, the thought of coming to choir and expanding those lungs the best I can is great."
