We save children’s lives. We helped 10 million children through our work in 2012. We run world-class programmes to save children’s lives and challenge world leaders to keep to their promises to give children a brighter future.
We are proud to be a part of our community
I love being part of the choir - I feel a great sense of community and our rehearsals are good fun with lots of laughter as well as hard work - a real tonic
Harmonia Choir member
Harmonia Choir is a community choir in a number of ways. Our members all come from the local area and over time we have become a close group offering friendship and support to each other. New members are always welcome, and many members say how much singing and performing with the choir means to them.
The majority of our concerts fundraise for local charities, and most of the charities we work with have a personal connection to one or more of our members. Often, the suggestion to work with a new charity comes from a member who has received support and would like to help put something back.
We have developed ongoing relationships with a number of these groups, and look forward to working with them again in the future. To see details of past and future concerts, see our events page.
We are also fortunate to have benefitted from local charities and trusts ourselves, and we thank them for their support.
If you would be interested in Harmonia performing at your event, supporting your charity, or would like to sponsor Harmonia, then please get in touch.
At a concert at St.Leonard's Church in Malton the choir supported the work of CAFOD and in particular the village of Puentecitos in El Salvador that St.Leonard's have had links with since 2010. The money raised will help the villagers to become more self sufficient.

Ryedale Special Families is an independent charity based in Malton, which provides on-going care and support for over 420 Ryedale based families who have children with disabilities and/or special needs. Founded nearly 25 years ago by parents with children with disabilities, it has become a significant and well-respected organisation in the area, but continually has a requirement to raise the necessary funds to continue this invaluable work. Areas of activity include the introduction of families to support groups, respite care, special education advice, advocacy, home visits, family social events, social groups for children and young people and specialist holiday sessions.
“Harmonia has been helping us with our fundraising events by performing a number of concerts for the past few years now and we’re extremely grateful for their support.”
