Our Accompanist - Moira Gray
Moira studied piano and clarinet at the Royal Academy of Music, specialising in accompaniment and winning several awards. She taught for many years in the Limerick School of Music in Ireland and was accompanist in the Irish World Music Centre at the University of Limerick. She was Assistant
Organist in St. Mary's Cathedral Limerick, where her late husband, Stuart, was Organist and Choirmaster. Together they founded the Limerick Festival Choir and Orchestra and many other ensembles. She has written choral music for the Cathedral choir and also wind ensemble and piano pieces.
Moira has performed extensively as a soloist and accompanist for instrumentalists, singers and choirs in recitals, music festivals, musicals and examinations, including ballet exams.
She now lives near Malton, performing, teaching and examining.
